Everybody who is maybe reading this is more than likely in quarantine like I am, and yes it is very tedious and boring I know but I’m here to give you a few things that you could do while in quarantine like Netflix recommendations and some of my personal favourite books.
1. okay so I know maybe some of us if not a lot of us will watch Netflix and I know that everyone has different tastes as to what they like to watch genre wise but I thought I would give you some of a mix of different genres .
Recommendation 1. if you like comedy’s like I do , I mean who doesn’t it cheers you up when you having a bad day and it also gives you a good laugh if you are with friends or by yourself. so my favourite comedy movies are bring it on , step brothers and also bridesmaid’s is a good one too , I also like funny tv series like Brooklyn nine nine , Friday night dinner , still game etc , some of you might not know what some of them are if you aren’t from the uk so sorry about that . For kids there are also good ones like minions, hotel Transylvania and shrek which are amazing and I still watch them.
Recommendation 2. if you are into crime like I am and investigations like I am these are some really good documentaries that I enjoy . So one is don’t f**k with cats its really good if you are into investigations and finding out the motives as to why someone did what they did and the evil behind it all , another interesting documentary is the trails of Gabriel Fernandez which is about a nine year old boy who was abused and tortured by his own mother and step dad and it is hard to watch so anyone who finds abuse and murder triggering please be cautious watching.
recommendation 3. if you are into films that where first books then developed into films then here are a few suggestions but keep in mind the books are still better in my opinion. So first one Great Gatsby is a good contender for me as it is a play on the 1925 novel written by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald and is about a group of characters in a small town and is mainly about how Nick Carraway, a world war one veteran who works as a stock market trader after settling in NYC he finds himself attracted to Jay Gatsby and his extravagant life style. another good few are The Fault In Our Stars and The Perks Of Being A Wall Flower .
recommendation 4. if you like older films like I do I have a few you may enjoy. first one breakfast at tiffany’s of course that has to be the staple of a good old film for me or grease , mean girls , 13 going on 30 , bring it on etc. These are just the main ones for me if you are into these I know these may seem kind of girly or what not but they are good for no matter what gender etc.
So these are just some of my recommendations and you may be into them and you may not but that’s your choice and I hope you do enjoy some of them and that they help You while you are stuck at home in quarantine protecting yourselves from COVID-19 and just a quick note please stay at home if you are able to I know this might not be helpful advice as not everyone has income and childcare coming into their household but if you can , please follow your governments advice/instruction and stay home as you could be helping save so many lives and you might not even be aware that you are doing so.
